Welcome to my page! I'm Kathie Schmitt from Eliza, Illinois, formally of Muscatine, Iowa. I enjoy reading, growing, learning, sharing, and teaching about herbs! I have been doing this for about 15 years now, and STILL find new information all the time! I first started out growing herbs just because they are pretty, then I started with a simple tea garden of herbs, then continued with edible flowers, and now my main studies are medicinal herbs. I was an active herbalist in Bloomington, Il. and recently held the office of President for Muscatine Herb Pals-a study group located here in my town.
My main goal of this page is to teach the novice herb gardener about the various uses of herbs. I have been away from my computer webpage for awhile, and now have a new computer so I can start UPDATING older links and adding new information!
